How To Draw
To draw the face, we start by sketching the basic proportions of the head and face. This includes the placement of the eyes, nose, mouth and ears. Then add more detail to each element, focusing on shapes and shading to create depth and dimension. Once you have the basic structure face down, you can add the finishing touches. Let’s get started!

Draw horizontal and vertical lines that intersect each other. The vertical line will act as the center line and we will help align the rest of the face to this line. From the intersections, mark four points 1 cm to the left and right of the vertical line as shown.
At this stage we will draw the eyes. From the second point marked on each side of the vertical line, draw the contours of the eyes using curved lines. Create a circle under the curved lines to draw the inside of the eye. It should touch the eyeliner. Then make a small circle inside the larger circle. Make sure your curved lines are the same on both sides to achieve perfect eye level.
From point one marked on the horizontal line, draw another curved line to create eyebrows on both sides. Now you can see the center of the face along with the eyes. Make sure the corners of the eyes touch the horizontal line to get the perfect shape. Use light pencil strokes when tracing to easily erase mistakes.
Using the first points on our horizontal line, draw slightly curved lines below the line to the vertical lines to create the tip of the nose. To create the base of the nose, draw rough triangles around the tip as shown.

After 2 cm, draw a horizontal line under the nose, which you will take as the center line, draw the upper lip with a curve in the middle and the lower lip. Make sure the bottom lip is bulging.
In this step we will sketch the human face. Very carefully, with light strokes of the pencil, using short lines curved at different angles, sketch the outline of the face. Make the lower part of the chin into a U shape and slightly round the shape of the head.
Once you have the shape of the head, it’s time to draw the ears. Using curved lines, touching the outline of the face, draw the ears on both sides of the face. Use horizontal lines. The top of the ears will be above the horizontal line.
Using the same point on the horizontal line, draw the hair. Trace the outline of the hair using simple curved lines. The outline of the hair changes for the female face. Simply to get a realistic picture, especially if you are a beginner.

To get the perfect facial features, it is important to erase the auxiliary lines carefully. Use a dark pencil or marker to outline the entire outline before erasing. Draw a small wave towards the hair. Once done, remove the guide lines and other lines from the center of the face.

The majestic appearance of the horses is a sight to behold, but when it comes to drawing them, things can get a little complicated.
Lead artist Gonzalo Lopez has created a video tutorial to help you learn how to draw a horse from scratch:
In the video, Gonzalo begins simply by defining the area where he will draw the horse and drawing the basic shapes of the horse’s body.

He first draws the upper body, adds the head and tail, and then moves on to illustrating the horse’s legs.
The first thing you need to do is determine the angle from which you want to draw the horse.
To begin with, we recommend that you draw him from the side to get a good sense of proportion and learn to draw his body parts easily.
You see, horses have about 700 muscles in their body (in comparison, we have over 600!), so drawing them can seem difficult to a beginner.

However, the process of illustrating a horse becomes easier if you start by drawing basic shapes and then combine them into complex shapes.
We do this because the square will help us determine the size of the horse.
The distance between the left and right sides of the square indicates the length of the horse, and the space between the top and bottom of the square indicates how tall the horse will be.
We’ll draw the head outside the square later, but for now you need to decide how big you want the chest, back and legs to be.

Apply light pressure to the pen as you’ll want to erase unwanted parts of the image when you’re done sketching.
The circle on the left is where the horse’s chest will be, and the circle on the right is the horse’s back.
Although it may be hard to imagine at the moment, your horse’s upper body is slowly coming back together!
As you can see in the picture, Gonzalo drew the lower part of the horse’s neck as wide as a circle in the left corner. Then he gradually narrowed it until he reached the point where he drew the head.

If you are a beginner, getting the proportions right and choosing the right head and neck size is more important than making them look realistic early.
First, you should bring the front leg to the knee and the back leg to the ankle joint.
The front leg should look almost like an extension of the horse’s neck. The back of the leg should start near the center of the circle on the left side.
On the back leg, you can make the thigh the same width as the circle on the right and then slowly taper the leg towards the ankle.

Once you’ve drawn the top of both legs, add a line connecting the horse’s legs – this will be its belly!
Before you start drawing, notice the line at the top that connects the circles. This is where the horse’s back is, so make sure the distance between the back and belly is proportional.
Now the bottom row of the square is where the horse’s hooves should be. But even if you go a little overboard, don’t worry as long as your horse’s body looks in proportion!
You have to connect them to the horse’s chest and belly because that’s how they look from the side.

The right front leg should be slightly behind the left front leg and the right rear leg should be in front of the left rear leg like this:
Gonzalo then continued to draw the mouth. He also added one eye and one nostril because, like the ears, you can only see one of them.
You can also make the horse’s jaw a little softer and more defined, because nature doesn’t have straight lines like contouring.
